Louisiana Tech Athletics

Louisiana Tech has brought many wonderful experiences to my life. Working with 16 different NCAA sports is challenging but fulfilling. Engaging with student athletes on and off the court while telling their story is a blessing. Check out some of my photos and videos – more videos located on my YouTube page.

This video was so fun! Not only did our student athletes partake but also our our men’s head basketball coach did as well. I love our new state of the art studio we have at Louisiana Tech University. My lighting skills have increased tremendously!
Moe Muhammed is one of the most amazing human beings I have ever met. Being able to bring his story to life was such an honor.
I personally believe this hype video shows my best fast paced video editing skills. This video shoot was so fun with the team and it was awesome for the fans to see this on the video board in the brand new baseball stadium.
Had a great time getting to hang out with two of our golf student athletes in January’s What’s Up Ruston! The audio for our host Madison Kaufman gets a tad sub par towards the end due to the dismount from the pavilion roof. Doing these types of videos is one of my favorites!
This year has been hard for the entire world due to COVID-19. Athletic teams have been battling through not only COVID-19 testing but also injuries, mental health, and trying to keep their grades up. Unfortunately, our senior class did not have the opportunity to be celebrated for their Senior Day this season. I created this video as a tribute to them and the love, blood, sweat, and tears they have put into this program.
In the past two years that I have lived in Ruston, Louisiana we have endured a lot. A category EF3 tornado hit our sweet town on April 25, 2019 which decimated our baseball, softball, and soccer fields. Along with many homes and businesses, while taking two lives. Then in March of 2020, we all know what happened – a worldwide pandemic. But through it all the town of Ruston comes together as a community whenever it is needed. I created this video for our football homecoming game to show just that. I love this town and I will always call it home.
During the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 our town of Ruston and Louisiana Tech University was bare and empty, as was the whole nation and world. I created this video to let the Ruston community know that after all of the uncertainty going on in the world at that time that we would be back. I put the Tenants of Tech into this video to let our fans know that we are Forever Loyal.
During the pandemic, not only were we shutdown but the world was encountering other issues, racial injustice. On Thursday, June 4th, 2020, Louisiana Tech and Grambling State University organized a Black Lives Matter march. It was a peaceful event but tremendously powerful.
